Dear organizers, participants and guests of XIII International IT-Forum and 5th International
Conference on information security «Infoforum-Ugra»,
For the thirteenth time, Khanty-Mansiysk is hosting the International IT Forum with the
participation of the SCO and BRICS countries, which has become one of the most important
events in the life of digital Russia.
The capital of Ugra traditionally gathers representatives of federal and regional authorities,
Russian and foreign IT companies, public and scientific organizations at the Forum, which has
rightfully gained authority in the information technology industry.
The rich program of the Forum testifies to the focus of its organizers and the Government
of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug — Ugra, on finding the most effective solutions in
the interests of developing the digital economy of the state and building an information society
in the Russian Federation.
The strategic sessions of the Forum focus on the problems of information and
communication in the digital age, improving the information infrastructure as the basis of the
digital economy, the use of artificial intelligence, the development and application of digital
technologies, and strengthening international cooperation.
Since 2017, Infoforum-Ugra International Conference on Information Security has become
an integral part of the Forum in Khanty-Mansiysk — a discussion platform that has earned
the recognition of the professional community on key issues of implementing the strategic
national priority «Information Security», ensuring international information security, creating a
secure and stable ICT environment in the CSTO, SCO and BRICS states.
The key feature of the event is the participation of delegations of foreign states, building
partnerships in the interests of developing national sectors in the field of information
technology and information security, and reaching agreements on cooperation.
Discussions within the framework of the Forum and the conference make it possible to
bring together the approaches of their participants to solving urgent problems in these areas,
to find mutually acceptable solutions aimed at strengthening the digital sovereignty of Russia
and its partners, and to consolidate efforts in the interests of forming a system for ensuring
international information security.
Traditionally, within the framework of the conference, a digital forum «Russia-China: New
Digital Technologies and Information Security» will be held, which will give a new impetus to
the interaction of our countries in these strategically important areas.
I am sure that the main result of the discussions will be a common understanding of how
to achieve the stated goals in the name of strengthening the national security of all countries
participating in the events in the capital of Ugra and the desire to jointly make the global
information space safe and stable.
