President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation
On behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, I
welcome the participants and guests of the 5th International Conference on Information
Security «Infoforum-Ugra», which is held as part of the XIII International IT Forum with the
participation of the BRICS and SCO countries.
In 2022, the Conference program will pay special attention to the issues of supporting
and developing the information security industry in the context of economic sanctions
and the need to strengthen the interaction of countries and organizations in the face
of new challenges that arise in the digital space, and the tasks of protecting the digital
sovereignty of states.
International cooperation in the field of information security, carried out within the
framework of such international organizations as BRICS, SCO, CSTO and others, is a
critical part of the foreign policy of the Russian Federation and is aimed at achieving and
developing the goals of building a comfortable and secure digital space for all members
of the global information community.
I am sure that the proposals and solutions put forward by Russian and foreign experts
during the Infoforum in Ugra will be reflected in the final documents of the Conference
and will become a solid basis for further joint initiatives and achieving the goals of stable
and sustainable development of the digital world.
In turn, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation is ready to
assist in the development and promotion of these initiatives and proposals, taking into
account the existing expert potential.
I would like to wish the organizers, participants and guests of the Conference
productive work and new ideas aimed at strengthening information security in Russia
and the world.
